This wide angle allows me to find the right balance between faithfulness of proportions, respect for verticals and careful composition, without creating unpleasant distortion effect.

Retouching, a discreet but essential know-how

In real estate photography, the retouch is a bit like the recipe of Coca-Cola: we know that it exists, but the exact formula is often unclear. It's not about wanting to keep a secret, but let's say the photographers — consciously or not — avoid saying too much.

Dans mon cas, c’est un regard qui m’est venu naturellement — j’ai l’œil du photographe, c’est instinctif.

Mais pour ceux qui n’ont pas cette chance, cela reste accessible… avec un effort à chaque fois.

Une fois l’image bien composée, la retouche entre en jeu.

Et tout commence par un point fondamental : la balance des blancs. Un blanc doit être… blanc. Ni froid, ni jaune, ni sale. Il doit surtout être fidèle à ce que l’on voit dans la réalité.

Cela suppose une maîtrise de toute la chaîne de production : un bon objectif, un écran calibré, un flux de traitement cohérent de la prise de vue jusqu’au rendu final.

Vient ensuite la gestion colorimétrique : ajuster les couleurs pour un rendu harmonieux, équilibré, sans exagération. Le tout doit rester naturel, clair et agréable à l’œil.

Enfin, il y a le redressement des perspectives, une étape souvent négligée et pourtant cruciale en immobilier.
