On the French Riviera, the landscapes are so spectacular that it would be almost a shame to see them only at man's height.
It is in this spirit that I recently made a panoramic flight over the Mount Macaron, with a 360° view mixing sea, mountains, and ancient ruins.
The rendering, captured in drone video, allows to discover this exceptional site from another angle — and above all, to share it.

In this sequence, toured close to Aspremont and Châteauneuf-Villevieille, we see:
- on Mont Chauve, Breek d'Utelle, Rocca Siera,
- on ruins of Châteauneuf, and even, in clear times... Corsica.

To accompany this video, I prepared a PDF educational document for drone pilots (amateurs or semi-pros) wishing to fly around Mount Macaron.

📌 A regulated framework and individual responsibility
This document has a vocation Information technology and teaching, but does not in no case a flight authorisation.
The regulation around the drone is changing regularly — especially in mountainous areas — and it belongs to each verify the flight conditions in force at the time of take-off.
I also recommend the utmost caution, and especially respect for walkers :
People come to the mountains to get away from the noise, not to meet a new one. A drone can be a beautiful object... provided it is used with respect, distance and discretion.
In practice, I encourage you to:
- keep you away from anyone,
- communicate with hikers if necessary,
- go beyond regulation, in a logic of active courtesy.
It is also, in my view, a good drone pilot today.
📷 Want aerial views for your projects?
I propose benefits photo and video by drone throughout the French Riviera, for real estate, tourism, events or brands.
Each flight is carefully prepared to guarantee visual impact and respect for the framework.
