In recent months, artificial intelligence has been at the heart of conversations, both in the media and on digital platforms. His creative potential questions, especially in the field of image, with tools like Midjourney or Krog, or in writing, through models such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Mistral. There are many, sometimes lively, often necessary debates.
But a field is still very little explored — or at least little recognized: music creation by IA. As soon as one evokes it, one quickly hears that it would be a kind of sound boil, artificial, soulless. A cold tool that would destroy the sensitivity of real musicians. A threat to humanity, almost.
What if we take two minutes to grade?
In summary:
Creating a song with an AI: a real step
What I wanted to test here is very simple: can one, with a little care, a real text, and a minimum of intent, create a song with the help of artificial intelligence?
Not to replace artists.
Not to compete with songwriters.
But for experience creationpersonal, sensitive, sincere.
So I wrote a text. I treated words, images, rhythm. I imagined a soft voice, a simple arrangement — guitar, piano, a little air. And I turned to a tool accessible to the general public: Suno AI.
In a few essays, the song took shape. And she surprised me. Not because she would be perfect, or because she upsets me to the point of crying. But because she leaves something. A gentle emotion. Honesty. A certain beauty, even imperfect.
A song born of a need to slow down
The theme? A gentle invitation to let go of the screens to find the simple pleasures: walking in the sand, getting wet by the rain, rolling aimlessly in a golden light. It's a song to say: The world still exists, if you look up.
You can listen below:
I'll let you judge. Close your eyes. Imagine a little wind in the hair. Maybe you'll feel what I wanted to do.
An AI for whom, for what?
Will this song ever replace Brel, Cabrel or Vianney? No. And that's not the point.
But can these tools be used to:
- Accompanying a vacation video?
- Give a wink to someone we love?
- Create a unique atmosphere for a personal or associative project?
Yes. A hundred times yes.
And can you feel joy, pride, a little thrill Listening to a song that's been imagined from end to end, even if IA sang? Absolutely.
And if you need help...
I regularly create music content supported by IA, for personal or professional projects. If the idea seduces you, if you have a similar need or simply a desire to realize: feel free to contact me.
I'd be happy to help you make a song look like you exist.
